Brisant-Secure are about making products that are easy for locksmiths to sell locks and door installers to sell doors. We spend a lot of time developing new ways to make this happen and creating ways for our customers to present why their product is better. We’re always hearing customers tell us how they’ve used something we offer in a new way or with a new type of customer or with a new message or just using what we gave them and love how it looks/works.

So we have set up a trade Facebook group for those who install our products to be informed/inspired about new initiatives and to see how others are using them. This page is itself yet another way for us to help our locksmith and door installer customers see how they can use Brisant products to sell more locks and doors.

Ultion SMART has been developed in collaboration with Salto Systems. Their tried and tested Danalock technology used with Brisant’s most secure lock and handle, creates a new customer focussed Smart lock.

Ultion SMART gives the consumer choice.  It works on any door that takes a euro-cylinder.  It is fitted with the Ultion 3 Star Sold Secure Diamond lock, comes with a £1,000 guarantee and with a real key.  Brisant’s research showed that homeowners wanted the peace of mind of being able to over-ride any technology with a key.

Ultion SMART can be retro-fitted and with the technology being on the inside of the door, the homeowner has the choice of keeping their original external handle or suiting it with one of Brisant’s security designed Sweet handles.  The additional benefit of this is that from the outside no one would know the front door was fitted with Smart technology.

Ultion SMART does everything that a homeowner would expect from a Smart lock.  It works through an app, but to safeguard the door from being hacked, not through the internet. The app allows the homeowner to lock their door automatically through the app or voice command.  It enables the homeowner to set a “geofence” that works through Bluetooth, enabling the door to unlock automatically when the phone gets within range.  All features can be switched on or off, dependent on the needs of the homeowner.

Ultion SMART can also work with Amazon Alexa using “If This Then That” allowing the homeowner to lock Ultion Smart simply by saying, “Alexa, lock the door.”  It also works with Apple Homekit, enabling Siri, iPhone, iPad and the Apple watch. Of course, if desired, the key over-rides all of it.

Then there are lots of extra features that make Ultion SMART the right choice for everyone, not just the lovers of technology amongst us.  It is fitted with “twist assist” meaning the lightest touch can open the door from the inside, perfect for people with arthritis or limited mobility.  It can come with a wireless keypad allowing people to be given a code to enter, either just one time or on multiple occasions.  This is ideal for carers or Air B&B.

The Brisant stand also saw an increasing number of locksmiths who have expanded their businesses to doors and they showed great interest in Ultion WXM.  This new generation lock has additional features which adapt Ultion to meet the needs of a changing market place.
